Dr. Ducey specializes in sports medicine and arthroscopy of the shoulder and knee. He has helped many athletes and “weekend athletes” with procedures such as arthroscopic rotator cuff repair and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction.
Dr. Ducey has been recognized for his expertise in performing minimally invasive procedures, resulting in quicker recovery and less pain. His state-of-the-art surgical techniques include minimally invasive hip replacement, knee replacement and same day partial knee replacement.
Dr. Ducey received his MD from the Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Wake Forest University. He completed his internship in general surgery and residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and his fellowship in sports medicine at the University of Rochester.
Dr. Ducey is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America, the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Orthopaedic Surgeons of New Jersey, the Medical Society of New Jersey, the Essex County Medical Society and the Practitioners Club.
